However, including a few of his works in their selection is highly recommended. The program provides intensive training for aspiring pianists, featuring masterclasses, workshops, and lectures by internatioanlly renowned piano teachers. Participants have the unique opportunity to take part in an intensive study program and work in the historic setting where Chopin once lived, adding a profound dimension to their learning experience.
Location
The breathtaking beauty of Mallorca, Spain, an island renowned for its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant artistic scene, has long been a haven for creative minds. It was here, in the historic village of Valldemossa, that Frédéric Chopin spent a transformative winter in 1838-1839, composing some of his most evocative works. Inspired by this profound artistic legacy, our program offers young pianists the opportunity to immerse themselves in an environment steeped in musical history.

Our center is located in Cala Ratjada, a charming coastal town on Mallorca’s northeastern coast. This cultural hub is equipped with piano practice rooms and a concert hall, just 300 meters from the beach. This idyllic setting provides a unique blend of natural beauty and artistic inspiration, fostering both creativity and relaxation. The program’s activities will take place primarily in Cala Ratjada, culminating in a special final day in Valldemossa. Here, participants will have the opportunity to visit the very place that once inspired Chopin, adding a profound historical dimension to their learning experience.

The Official Chopin Museum, a key partner in this project, plays an integral role in enhancing the participants’ experience. The museum will welcome participants and host a private tour, providing a comprehensive insight into Chopin’s life in Mallorca. Participants will receive access to historical archives and the concert venue, offering them a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a setting deeply intertwined with Chopin’s legacy.
