Euan Moseley, a remarkable Yorkshire polymath now in his eighties, continues to write witty, immediate, original characterful and often virtuoso piano works at an extraordinary pace. Murray McLachlan is continuing his marathon recording sessions for the Divine Art Label on Wednesday 18 and Sunday 22 June at Chetham’s School of Music. Already recorded are the twenty piano topographies, four Nocturnes, Chameleon and 7/6 Waltzes and Waltzettes. These encompass at least three, possibly four CDs. In these sessions McLachlan continues with the 24 Prime Preludes.
